Mike Tott President and co founder of Gourmet du Village is very pleased to announce that daughter Ashley has taken over as President of the family business founded in 1982. “Ashley is now 34, the same age I was when we began”, said Mike “she has grown up with the business”. She started off training as a skilled chef, before joining the family business 13 years ago. Over that time, she has gained a depth of experience in Purchasing, Planning and QC but most recently has aggressively taken the lead in Business Development and Sales. Her combination of skills, energy and commitment is perfect to take the company to the next level. Recently the company has brought in new strengths in Purchasing & Planning, in Quality Control, currently they are looking for new talent to add to their Operations and Sales teams.
As Mike said; “From when we started till quite recently Baby Boomers like myself have been the driving force in the economy and our business, but that is changing, we too have to change and invest to meet the changing market place.”
Mike will continue with majority ownership as CEO, but focus on his passion as ‘Creative Director’.
