Leroy Shatto — the Osborn, Mo., dairy farmer best known for selling milk in old-fashioned glass bottles — has introduced a new line of farmstead cheeses.

Farmstead cheeses are produced on a single farm from milk that comes exclusively from the farmer’s animals. The cheese is typically made in small batches using artisanal methods with high-quality ingredients.

Available at Whole Foods: Lilly Premium Cheddar ($20 per pound), Smith Fork Cheddar ($14 per pound), Winstead Reserve Havarti, Perrin Port Salut and Plattsburg Gouda, plus raw milk Osborn Gouda, Keystone Havarti and Turney Port Salut (all $18 per pound).
