National Flower Week is observed in the United States every year on the third week of September. During this week, you can show your appreciation for the beauty of flowers by planting some flower seeds, decorating with flowers or even incorporating flowers into your wardrobe.Better yet, “Take time to smell the roses:”

. . . . The budding rose never stays

The same but unfolds in lovelier ways

(From Stone upon Stone: Psalms of Remembrance)

Franklin Park Conservatory:

Those living in the Columbus Metro area are blessed with a number of places where the beauty in nature abounds with colorful floral displays at this time of year. During this week visit the Franklin Park Conservatory which houses gardens and a wide variety of flowers. Next year visitors can look forward to the Orchid Forest and the return of the ever popular “Blooms and Butterflies.”
