   CREPiNi Launches Online Crepe Shop
by CREPiNi
Posted: Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 3:09PM EDT

CREPiNi, the premier North American crepe manufacturer, is thrilled to announce the launch of their new website and the online wholesale and retail shop. The company hopes e-commerce will bridge gaps in the supply chain and help them reach a broader range of customers, including loyal consumers who would like to try the full product line and small food businesses that do not meet the minimum quantity requirements set by distributors.

Customers located within a 600-mile radius of CREPiNi’s Brooklyn-based crepe factory will now be able to purchase from the company directly. Customers located outside of the 600-mile radius can still order by phone and pay the additional shipping charges, and business customers can contact a distributor in their area. Below is a complete list of distributors that carry CREPiNi products along with the regions they serve.

Versatile and widely-appealing, crepes are a great item to serve at cafés, restaurants, yogurt bars, tea rooms, wedding halls, private events, schools and more – the types of establishments CREPiNi’s site primarily targets. Users who register for business accounts and are approved will have access to wholesale prices online.

Producing more than 12,000 Naked crepes per hour in sizes ranging from 3” to 14”, CREPiNi saves food service providers the trouble of cooking perfect crepes for their own unique recipes by reducing labor costs and prep time, and freeing up their equipment for other uses. The company recently launched a fresh line of Russian Crepes called “Babulini Blini”, or Grandma’s Crepes. It features seven flavors and includes classic Russian fillings such as Sour Cherry, Cheese Raisin, and Potato Mushroom. In addition, CREPiNi is launching a new line of 3-inch Naked crepes – Cocktail Crepes – which can be used to create appetizers, pastries, and much more.

CREPiNi has booths reserved at several trade shows this Spring. The company attended the International Restaurant and Food Service Show at NYC’s Javits Center in early March, and will attend the Annual Conference & Culinology Expo in Portland, Oregon March 11-14 (Booth 917P). CREPiNi will also be at the Haddon House Food Show in May, and the Summer Fancy Food Show at the end of June.

Later this year, the company plans to launch a cookbook contest that will require contestants to create original recipes using any of CREPiNi’s Naked crepes – available in Classic, Buckwheat, Multigrain, and Beer Batter – and send their recipes along with photos to CREPiNi. The company hopes to attract food bloggers, culinary school students, chefs and anyone who loves to cook and appreciates the convenience of having heat-and-serve crepes that are delicious and easy to work with.
