> More information about each competitor can be found on Facebook here: Wim Hazelaar trofee.

The competition will be between the teacher and assistant florist; the freelancer and the shop owner, etcetera. The 12 participants will have to perform 7 assignments, with products the competition organizers selected for them. Every assignment will have a minimum number of requirements to meet.

The Wim Hazelaar competition is held at World of Flowers, at IFTF 2017 in Vijfhuizen, and is open to all visitors of the exhibition. It is possible to have a close look at the participants working on their assignments, due to the open setup of the event. All the designs made by the participants will also be displayed throughout the World of Flowers!

On Thursday, November 9th, the jury will announce the winner of this year. Karin Pasman, winner of the Wim Hazelaar trophy 2016, will give the ‘Mobach trofee’ to the winner of 2017. The winner also receives €250,- provided by Smithers-Oasis, and Bloomtube offers him/her a demonstration on their Bloomtube channel.
