Philadelphia, PA – Procacci Holdings LLC has announced the promotions of George Binck to Chief Operating Officer, John Hagan to Chief Financial Officer and Lou Struble to Director of Business Development and Special Projects.

George Binck was hired by Procacci Brothers in 1993 as a Human Resources Manager.  During his career with Procacci Brothers, Binck has driven operational excellence throughout Procacci’s vertically-integrated businesses in roles that have included Special Projects Manager, General Manager and most recently, Executive Vice President.   As EVP, George excelled in crafting administrative policies and programs that provided value to the Procacci family businesses, while also serving the diverse interests of the 8,000 workers that Procacci employs throughout their business operations in the United States and Mexico.

“For many years now, whenever I’ve faced a complex business issue my first call has been to George Binck.  Aside from my father, no individual has had a greater impact on my success as a leader and decision maker for this company,” said Procacci’s CEO and Chairman, J.M. Procacci.  Procacci continued, “I know George will achieve great success as our new COO, my former role, because he’s provided outstanding insight, guidance and support when I’ve faced challenges like the ones he’ll encounter in his new role.”

Procacci Holdings LLC’s new CFO, John Hagan, joined Procacci Brothers as an Accountant in 2005, was promoted to Controller in 2008, and then to CFO of Procacci Brothers Sales Corporation in 2011.  In his new role, Hagan joins J.M. Procacci and George Binck as officers of Procacci Holdings with enterprise wide responsibilities.  Hagan will oversee the financial decision-making strategies for all Procacci-family-owned agricultural companies.

“Procacci Holdings LLC encompasses a wide array of businesses that the Procacci family owns in the agriculture sector.  We own our supply chain from seed cultivation and R&D through delivery to our customers.  Our vertical integration enables us to capitalize on synergies within our business operations and to offer wide-ranging solutions to our customers such as plant-grafting services, direct-store-delivery, and private labeling to name a few,” said J.M. Procacci, while offering high praise for the company’s new CFO.  “To have a complex understanding of the financial inner workings of one company is impressive, but John Hagan’s exceptional grasp on the totality of our operations and our industry is truly something else.”

Lou Struble joined Procacci Brothers in 2008 as a business analyst and account manager of Procacci Brothers’ Walmart business.  As the leader of Procacci’s Walmart team, Lou’s efforts have helped Procacci Brothers to grow their yearly Walmart business by more than 300% over their 2008 numbers.  In 2014, Struble was promoted to Corporate Director of Communications and Social Responsibility.  Throughout his time with Procacci Brothers, Struble has contributed to the company’s analytical and strategic planning successes, including overseeing improvements to the company’s centralized Sales and Harvest forecasting model.

“As our Director of Business Development and Special Projects, Lou will be responsible for identifying and delivering business growth solutions for current and prospective customers through product development, process efficiency improvements, and other strategic endeavors.” said J.M. Procacci.

Procacci concluded, “It’s a very exciting time for the Procacci family businesses.  The Produce industry is rapidly changing.  I have the utmost confidence that John, George and Lou will excel in their new roles and do their parts in keeping us a step ahead of our competitors.”
