L&M Adds Foodservice Experience, Expands Forward Distribution Business In Raleigh
by L&M
Posted: Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 9:03AM EST

L&M is enthusiastically welcoming the addition of James Lee to their sales team in Raleigh.

“James brings a diverse skill set to L&M, particularly his experience with food service. He has inside knowledge of the industry and understands the unique needs of food service customers. He’s also passionate about and focused on excellent customer service, freshness and reliability.” –Greg Cardamone, General Manager of Vegetables and Potatoes.

James is located in L&M’s Raleigh Market location which consolidates, packs and repacks from L&M’s own farms across the country and it’s growing partners in the US and Mexico. The facility not only serves as a consolidation and forward distribution point, but also repacks potatoes and onions, sells tomatoes and vegetables year round, and serves as the company’s hub for the regional local grown program.

“Our consolidation ability has been particularly valuable in these volatile times of disrupted freight availability.  We are seeing our business grow due to our ability to serve many customers with same day or next day deliveries of fresh quality produce.  James’ energy and passion for customer service is a great match for this high-paced, fast moving work environment.”

James is a North Carolina native and graduate of East Carolina University. James joins L&M with 15 years of experience in the restaurant and food service industry.   His passion for foodservice coupled with his sales experience make him a valuable addition to L&M’s team.
