Putting A New Spin On Rotisserie Chicken
by Union Chicken
Posted: Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 3:28PM EST

TORONTO  -- “Organically raised free range chickens for free range humans” is how Union Chicken describes their concept. Union Chicken is a full-service organic rotisserie chicken restaurant, and Yorkshire Valley Farms is pleased to be their supplier of organic chicken and eggs. "It’s been a fantastic partnership for us.  Union Chicken’s culinary expertise and commitment building a menu around organic chicken has allowed us to showcase our high quality, Ontario-raised poultry," says James Sculthorpe, President of Yorkshire Valley Farms.

Right in the middle of bustling Union Station along the York Street Promenade, Union Chicken’s second location is a contemporary, comfortable space with a mouthwatering menu that is perfect for on-the-go commuters and travelers alike. Their commitment to sourcing organic chicken from Yorkshire Valley Farms means that guests can rest assured the chickens have been raised in a way that is better for the animals and for the environment. As consumers increasingly ask questions about where their food comes from, Union Chicken gives them an option that offers both culinary appeal and peace of mind.

Executive Chef Angeloni, formerly of Grand Electric and Splendido, brings a wealth of culinary expertise to the Union Chicken kitchen. He has been recognized as one of Toronto’s Top 30 under 30 chefs, and is passionate about chicken. “The difference between an organic free range chicken from Yorkshire Valley Farms and a standard chicken is night and day. When I tried the Yorkshire Valley Farms organic chicken I knew it was what we needed for our restaurant,” says Angeloni.

Within Union Station, Union Chicken is located on the lower level in the York Street Promenade at the South East corner of Front and York.  Lunch and Dinner are served daily from 11am and brunch from 10am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday.
