Scholarships Available To Attend BakingTech

ASB is offering a limited number of scholarships to attend BakingTech 2015 in Chicago, IL March 1-3, 2015. To be considered for a scholarship you must be a wholesale baker and must never have been an ASB member nor attended BakingTech. Scholarships include BakingTech registration, ATBI registration, and lodging at the conference hotel (up to 4 nights room and tax).

World Seafood Champion Named In Las Vegas

Terry Reinhardt had the catch of the day in mid-November, taking home the World Seafood Champion title at the World Food Championships (WFC). Reinhardt, a resident of Red Bud, Ill., competed in the weeklong, tournament-style competition, topping the ranks of his individual category and placing fifth in the overall competition, beating out over 400 competitors in the nine-category field and taking home $10,000. The World Food Championships took place in Downtown Las Vegas, Nov. 12-18.
