Bakery Congress 2015 Grows 30% In Size & Attracts 20% Higher Audience

Mississauga ON – The latest edition of the Bakery Congress 2015 Trade Show & Conference on May 31st &  June 1 at Palais des congrès de Montréal was a resounding success.  Almost 1400 highly qualified buyers from Retail, Commercial, Wholesale & In-store Bakeries, Grocery Stores, Food Service Establishments and Food Industry professionals attended the trade show floor. Theme for this year was Innovation through Tradition.

Bakery Congress 2015 was organized by BAC in collaboration with Le Conseil de Boulangerie Québec (CBQ), both exhibitor and attendee participation were higher than the previous Montréal editions. L'Association des Boulangers Artisans du Québec had organized the first ever artisan bakers competition on the trade show floor, the competitors prepared a variety of dazzling baked products on a continuous basis during both show days. Winner of the competition was Gérald Loersch of Première Moisson.

Educational sessions on both show days were presented by industry’s recognized experts, the sessions were very well attended and focused on the theme Innovation through Tradition. The educational sessions during BAC events have grown in popularity adding a solid value to the event.
