Chalet Desserts Adds New Vice President Of Sales & Marketing

Chalet Desserts, Inc. is happy to announce Frank Lindsey as a new member of its team as Vice President of Sales and marketing. Frank has enjoyed an extensive and successful career as an executive in food & beverage, in both the retail and foodservice industries. This includes experience selling and marketing frozen desserts, baked goods, and gourmet beverages, as well as natural, organic, and functional foods. He has held senior roles in sales, marketing, and general/executive management. Companies Frank has worked for range in size from large multinational manufacturers of well-known brands to smaller, boutique startup organizations.

Frank's diverse background has allowed him the privilege of partnering with a number of large and well respected food retail, c-store, restaurant and hospitality chains. He has successfully created and launched new products, developed value-adding customer programs and promotions, and led and supported national and international sales teams.

Most recently, Frank was a partner with the firm Hatts LLC. Hatts provides customized solutions to select food and beverage manufacturers seeking expertise in sales, marketing, product development, brand development, and strategic planning. While there, Frank developed new business for clients at a number of nationally recognized retail and foodservice chains.

In addition to his business development accomplishments, Frank authored go-to-market strategic plans, provided transitional sales leadership, guided the creation and implementation of customer contact software, developed pricing programs, created marketing collaterals and POS merchandising tools, and attended board-level corporate meetings for his clients. New products Frank has helped develop and launch include the recently introduced line of Tapatio brand sour cream dips.

Prior to joining Hatts, Frank served as the General Manager of the Foodservice Division for Big Train, a leading manufacturer of gourmet beverage mixes and concentrates for both the foodservice and retail industries. Big Train conducted business in more than 50 countries worldwide. He and his team were responsible for reversing several years of declining sales prior to his coming on board, while successfully expanding his division's national sales footprint to new foodservice and cash & carry segments.

Other leadership roles Frank has held include: Vice President of Sales, and eventually CEO, at Montana Legend; Vice President of Sales at Cambro Manufacturing; and Vice President of Marketing at Katy Maintenance Group, a subsidiary of Katy Industries. Earlier in his career, Frank worked for S. C. Johnson Commercial Products, holding several field and corporate based management positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing.

Frank holds a bachelors degree from Elmhurst College, and an MBA from University of La Verne.
