Entenmann’s Crowdsources its Newest Limited-Edition Donut Flavor

ISLANDIA, N.Y. — With Entenmann’s®, Everyone’s Got A Favorite® – and now one lucky fan’s dream donut could be the next to rise to the top! Entenmann’s Bakery, a division of Bimbo Bakeries USA, announced today that it is now accepting entries for its first-ever Fan Flavor Challenge & Sweepstakes. Through June 14, 2019, fans can submit their donut flavor idea at  www.Entenmanns.com/FanFlavorChallenge for the chance to have their creation made during the 2019 holiday season, in addition to more exciting and delicious prizes.

“At Entenmann’s, we’re pretty nuts for donuts and are lucky to have a passionate fan base that loves the irresistible baked good as much as we do,” said Jason Amar, Director of Marketing at Entenmann’s. “We are constantly innovating and expanding our donut selection based on fan feedback and are excited to up the ante this year and let them decide our next offering in celebration of our favorite holiday, National Donut Day.  We can’t wait to see – and taste – what they come up with!”  

Just in time for National Donut Day, donut lovers can enter the Challenge via the online entry form using the “Flavor Maker” to choose their favorite base, flavor, glaze and topping, and then provide a creative name, along with a short summary describing why they are an Entenmann’s Donut fan. Each Challenge entry will be reviewed by a panel of qualified judges, including Chief Donut Officer Rana Al-Nahhas. The grand prize winner will receive $5,000 and a year’s supply of donuts, and a chance to have their donut made during the 2019 holiday season. Two runners-up will also receive the sweet reward of free donuts for a year and $1,000 each.

Upon completion of the Challenge entry, fans can follow the instructions provided to share their original creation on Facebook or Twitter to receive one Sweepstakes entry to be placed into a random drawing for a chance to win the $1,000 Sweepstakes Grand Prize.

Specially marked Fan Flavor Challenge & Sweepstakes boxes of Entenmann’s Donuts are now available for purchase.
