Gluten-Free Pleasures

When Amy Lynch walked through the doors at FiddleCakes Bakery on Eighth Avenue,
she was hoping something wouldn’t be on the menu.

The enemy item? Gluten.

The mother of two was looking for a breakfast spot with gluten-free options for
her daughters, Sara, 23, and Jean, 21, who must avoid the protein, which is most
commonly found in wheat.

Fortunately for her, the folks at FiddleCakes were happy to oblige. Indeed, the
bakery sells more gluten-free items than it does vegan baked goods.
