Maria and Ricardo’s Tortillas Expand Distribution Nationally and Introduce Two New Non-GMO Tortillas

CANTON, MA – Maria and Ricardo’s, a manufacturer of high-quality, non-GMO tortillas with the most authentic taste and texture, today announced the company is expanding the distribution of its tortillas across the country through partnerships with Amazonand DOT Foods. The company also announced the launch of two brand new tortillas…Quinoa Flour Certified Gluten Free and Whole Wheat Plus.

The new partnership with national redistributor, DOT Foods, allows the company to reach even more foodservice customers including colleges, universities and multi-unit operators, particularly those located farther from Maria and Ricardo’s East Coast production facilities. And, for consumers shopping online, Amazon will initially carry six varieties of Maria and Ricardo’s tortillas including White Flour, Soft Yellow Corn, the new Quinoa Flour Certified Gluten Free and Whole Wheat Plus tortillas, in addition to two USDA Certified Organic tortillas, Organic White Flour and Organic Whole Wheat.

  • Quinoa Flour Certified Gluten Free Tortilla is made with a unique blend of quinoa flour, tapioca and potato starch, combined with avocado oil. It’s free of dairy, wheat, soy and egg, only 100 calories, and is Vegan and Kosher certified.
  • Whole Wheat Plus Tortilla, with only three net carbs, is a Keto-friendly tortilla, packed with six grams of fiber and three grams of protein. Made with avocado oil, it has only 45 calories, 1.5 grams of fat and is Vegan and Kosher certified.
