Pan-O-Gold Baking Co. Announces "Loaves For Learning" Fundraising Program

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Already preferred for their flavorful nutrition, freshness and variety, Country Hearth and Village Hearth breads and buns now offer another reason for families to add them to their shopping carts. Pan-O-Gold Baking Company's new "Loaves for Learning" program allows shoppers to support their local schools by collecting Country Hearth and Village Hearth UPC proofs of purchase, worth $0.05 each, and turning them in to their participating school for redemption. Eligible products include all Country Hearth and Village Hearth brand breads, buns, muffins, bagels and rolls.

The Loaves for Learning program is open to public and private K-12 schools throughout Pan-O-Gold's distribution area within eight upper Midwest states. Schools must register to participate and can earn up to $10,000 per year, which may be used to help fund any area of need the school determines — from books or computers, to extra-curricular activities or building maintenance. Program details, school promotional tools and registration information can be found at http://loaves4learning.com/.

"Supporting education is an investment in our children's future, and especially important at the local level," said the Pan-O-Gold Baking Company President Howard R. Alton. "With Loaves for Learning, we also want to demonstrate our appreciation for the customers, teachers and communities that support us. It's because of their loyal support that all of us at Pan-O-Gold — our bakers, delivery drivers, support and sales people — can continue to serve as the Midwest's baker, and for that we're grateful."

As the Midwest's leading wholesale bakery, Pan-O-Gold Baking Company produces, markets and distributes a variety of bread, buns and baked goods, including Country Hearth and Village Hearth brands, to grocery, retail, restaurant, and food service customers throughout its eight-state distribution area.
