Flowers Foods Begins Construction On New Haines City, FL Facility

Flowers Foods Inc. has begun construction on an 11,863-square-foot bakery distribution facility and thrift store at 35450 U.S. 27 in Haines City, right next door to the municipal police department. The 1,633-square-foot Flowers Bakery store out front will sell day-old baked goods, and the warehouse in the back will supply 10 independent distributors in Central Florida. The new facility, which will employ four people and open by early April, will replace the current Flowers distribution-only facility in Winter Haven.
