The Canadian Cheese Rolling Festival will be held on August 18th, beginning at noon in Whistler, British Columbia. The afternoon will feature cheese rolling races, costume contests and other fun activities for the whole family. This one of a kind activity in Canada will be celebrating its fifth anniversary on Blackcomb Mountain.

Families who depend on school lunches to provide nutritious meals need help during the summer months when school is out. The Farmer’s Cow, a group of six Connecticut family-owned dairy farms, has answered the call to partner with Connecticut Food Bank in East Haven and TEEG in Thompson to donate milk to support summer hunger programs.
