Indiana's Fisher Meats Wins Cured Meat Awards

Fisher Meats has again won top awards at a statewide meat competition. The company, which has a retail store at 2800 N. Walnut St. as well as its Fisher Packing Company location in Portland, competed in the Indiana Meat Packers and Processors Association's annual Hoosier Cured Meat Show. The show was held March 30-31 at Purdue University.

Kroger Gives Some Customers Refund Over Improperly Labeled Black Angus Beef

Some Kroger customers may find a surprise at the bottom of their receipt. Kroger spokesperson Joe Bell says Kroger Plus members will see a refund of black angus beef purchased at some stores during the last 18 months.
