Shareholders of Tyson Foods, Inc. today elected seven people to the company’s Board of Directors, including five independent directors. The vote was announced at Tyson’s annual meeting of shareholders in Springdale, Arkansas.

Highland County, VA Meat Facility Is Under Way

In March, construction will begin on the Allegheny Highlands Agricultural Center near Monterey. The facility will include a complete USDA-inspected slaughterhouse and a small meat processing facility that should be operational by September.
