Stakeholder Meetings On Food Safety Progress Scheduled

The U.S. Department of Agricultures Food Safety and Inspection Service, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention today announced two joint public meetings to hear stakeholder presentations on measuring progress on food safety.

San Antonio Packing Company Recalls Cervelat Sausage, Undeclared Allergen

San Antonio Packing Company, a San Antonio, Texas, establishment, is recalling approximately 9,408 lbs. of Cervelat Summer Sausage because it may contain an undeclared allergen, milk, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The recalled products do not have an ingredients statement. The product contains milk, a known potential allergen, which is not declared on the label.
