New Jersey Peach Promotion Council Freshens Website

In keeping with August as "New Jersey Peach Month,"  the New Jersey Peach Promotion Council (PPC) has updated its website, making it interactive and linking it to the state's peach growers and distributors.  The easily negotiated site is divided into five sections for specific interests:  "Members," "Wholesale, Institutional & Restaurants," Consumers," "Growers & Shippers," and "Media."

Shanley Farms Finger Limes Now In Season

Shanley Farms is now shipping Finger Limes.  Finger Limes are a micro citrus originally discovered growing in Australia.  They look like a long, skinny lime.  The interior is filled with citrus pearls (small individually contained juice vesicles) that pop in the mouth with citrus flavor when bitten into.  Finger Limes are great paired with seafood, sprinkled over salads, used to garnish cocktails, etc.
