Federal Judge Rules Farmer’s Skim Milk Labeling Lawsuit Should Proceed in Court

A federal judge in Pennsylvania has denied a motion by the Food and Drug Administration to dismiss a lawsuit centered around the definition of skim milk.

Northern Maryland farmer Randy Sowers of South Mountain Creamerywants to sell all-natural skim milk.

The only problem is FDA regulations say that in order for skim milk to be labeled as such, it must contain added vitamins A and D.
