Kalona, IA – Kalona Creamery, a member of the Open Gates Business Development Corporation family, recently announced they will start producing cheese curds in August 2018. This is the first time cheese has been made at this facility since Twin County Dairy closed its doors in 2014.
To celebrate, Kalona Creamery invites you to their cheese curd launch party on August 11, 2018, from 9 am – 5 pm. This free, family-friendly event will feature samples, photos with ‘Lona’ the cow mascot, a cheese curd eating challenge and shopping. Customers can participate in the Cheese Curd Eating Challenge for a chance to win a free bag of cheese curds!
