International Dairy Show Earns High Honors For Exceptional Growth

Washington, D.C. – The International Dairy Foods Association announced today that the 2013 International Dairy Show earned a coveted spot on Trade Show Executive’s 2014 Fastest 50, a list of the fastest-growing U.S. trade shows, for growth in number of attendees. In addition, the Dairy Show and its co-location partner, PROCESS EXPO, ranked second on EXPO Magazine’s list of Top 25 Fast-Growth Shows.

"We’re thrilled that the International Dairy Show earned one of the top spots on TSE’s Fastest 50, and the second place ranking in EXPO’s Top 25 demonstrates the power of co-location, a growing trend in trade shows that certainly is working for us,” said Robin Cornelison, IDFA trade show director.

“IDFA couldn’t be happier with the growth that the two shows experienced in 2013, both in number of exhibits and attendees, and we’re proud to be recognized with these prestigious awards,” said Neil Moran, IDFA senior vice president of finance, administration and trade show. “We’re continuing to add enhancements to make sure the 2015 shows will offer the best blend of innovation and business solutions for the entire processing industry.”

IDFA and the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) reported record attendance of 19,155 for their co-located shows in 2013. The 2015 shows will be held September 15-18 at McCormick Place in Chicago with an additional co-location partner, InterBev Process. Enhanced on-floor activities will include:

  • Increased on-floor education in iDairy Show theater and programming with larger set, more seats;
  • More on-floor food and beverage events, expanded closing reception and awards presentations;
  • Expanded pavilions for transportation and distribution, innovation and ingredients;
  • Continued partnership with Collegiate Dairy Products Evaluation Contest; and
  • More networking lounges.
