Pacific Valley Dairy of Pacific, Mo., was acquired March 30 by Schmid Inc.,
based in Orrville, Ohio.
Pacific Valley Dairy makes and distributes quality ice cream mix, frozen
dessert products and soft serve items such as cones, cups, toppings and syrups.
It distributes the products mainly in Missouri, Illinois, Texas and Florida.
Schmid Inc. and its subsidiary, Wayne Dairy Products Inc. in Richmond, Ind.,
will be implementing leadership changes to ensure successful facilities
operation while maintaining the companys vision and culture, according to
Schmid President Steve Schmid.
