Shamrock Farms Wants You To Share A Shot To Win The Spotlight

PHOENIX, AZ — It’s the most exciting time of year in college basketball, but
why should collegiate athletes have all the fun? Shamrock Farms is teaming up
with ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas to launch the Rockin’ Refuel Most
Rockin’ Basketball Shot Contest. Now, basketball pros and rookies alike can sign
up at www.RockinRefuel.com and submit a video of their most rockin’,
jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring shots.

America will view, share and vote on their favorites to narrow down the top five
shots. Bilas will then scout this top talent to decide which shot reigns supreme
and name the grand prize winner who will win a trip for two to a pre-conference
college basketball tournament game in New York City.

“I have spent my career calling the shots on college courts, and now I’m excited
to be checking out talent from courts across the country,” says former college
basketball star and ESPN commentator Jay Bilas. “Whether it’s a dunk or from
downtown, now is the chance for America to show off its talent to win big.”

The contest coincides with the national launch of Shamrock Farms Rockin’ Refuel,
a new protein-fortified chocolate milk that helps athletes rebuild and repair
muscles after exercise. Research suggests chocolate milk is the ideal beverage
after exercise and Rockin’ Refuel has 20 grams of protein to refuel athletes, as
well as the great taste and essential nutrients of 100 percent real milk. With
naturally-occurring electrolytes, it is also an excellent source of calcium,
magnesium, riboflavin, phosphorous and Vitamin D. Plus, it’s available in 12 oz.
bottles ideal for on-the-go.

Hitting the Road to Hoop It Up, Raise Money for Cancer Research

To keep local basketball stars fueled across the country, Shamrock Farms Rockin’
Refuel is co-sponsoring the 2010 Hoop It Up 3-v-3 basketball tournament, the
nation’s largest grassroots basketball tour, together with Sports Authority. The
tournament will travel to 33 cities to host thousands of amateur athletes as
they battle it out on the court. While there, athletes have a chance to enter
the national Rockin’ Refuel Most Rockin’ Basketball Shot Contest and sample
Rockin’ Refuel in select cities.

The basketball tour does more than puts points on the scoreboard; it supports
Coaches vs. Cancer, a joint effort by the American Cancer Society and the
National Association of Basketball Coaches that empowers basketball coaches,
their teams and communities to help win the fight against cancer. Together,
Shamrock Farms Rockin’ Refuel and Hoop It Up will donate $10 to the charity for
every team that registers at one of the 33 tournaments.

The Rockin’ Refuel Most Rockin’ Shot Contest

Whether a Hoop It Up participant or not, all contest hopefuls 16 years and older
can submit their entries online now through July 31, 2010 at
www.RockinRefuel.com. Videos must be less than one minute in length and will be
judged equally based on creativity and skill. Throughout the contest, Bilas will
review entries and post weekly audio commentary and analysis on those shots that
most catch his eye.

From August 1-15, 2010, video entries will be narrowed down by America’s vote,
determining the top five runners-up who will each receive Rockin’ Refuel
basketball swag. Hoop-star hopefuls are encouraged to visit the site often to
share and promote their entries with family and friends often to help increase
their chances of being named a finalist (limit of 15 votes per person).

Once the top five videos are selected, Bilas will help determine the most rockin’
shot and one lucky winner and a guest will head to NYC to catch a pre-conference
college basketball tournament championship game. Contest rules are available at
www.RockinRefuel.com.

The Ultimate Way to Refuel

When it comes to performing at the highest level, an athlete’s post-game
recovery routine is just as important as their pre-game prep. In fact, experts
suggest there’s a two-hour recovery window after exercise. Recent research shows
chocolate milk is a natural post-workout must-have, helping with everything from
rehydration to rebuilding and repairing muscles to endurance.

The ultimate recovery milk, Rockin’ Refuel is the better way to refuel after
exercise and is available nationally in chocolate, strawberry and vanilla 12 oz.
bottles for the suggested retail price of $1.39.
