For more than 50 years it’s been legal to drink raw milk in Wisconsin, but
illegal to sell it.
Some consumers believe that there are health benefits associated with raw milk,
while health officials say there are just too many risks.
91st District Representative Chris Danou says, “It’s going to be the kind of
market where at least some family farms will be able to generate at least some
additional income for the farm.”
That’s one of the reasons Representative Danou is a strong supporter of the Raw
Milk Bill.
