There Is A New Kind Of Milk On Cleveland Shelves

Northeast Ohio entrepreneur Adrian Bota has launched Origin Milk Company, which offers a new kind of milk that the company says “is naturally higher in Vitamins A and D and contains more protein than almost all other conventional and organic milk.”

Origin Milk is currently on the shelves at Heinen’s, Market District, Constantino’s and the Grocery in Ohio City, and will soon hit other stores, too. The rich, creamy milk sells for $5.99 a half-gallon, slightly more than organic milk.

Bota is founder of Piccadilly Artisan Yogurt on Coventry Road in Cleveland Heights, which offers organic, locally sourced self-serve frozen yogurt, and Piccadilly Artisan Creamery in University Circle, which uses liquid nitrogen to make smooth, creamy ice cream on the spot.
