A2A2 is the original milk protein, which existed before the advent of modern agriculture. A1 milk carries a mutated protein called A1 beta-casein. Research has shown that many people have difficulty digesting milk that contains A1 beta-casein. What’s more, milk containing the A1 protein has been linked to a wide variety of diseases, including autoimmune conditions, heart disease and various neurological disorders.
A2A2 tested milk, on the other hand, does not have these adverse effects.
