A Dynamic Wind of Renewal is Blowing at INTERVAL USA

It is with great pleasure that we officially introduce Elise Poulet Amoyal (visit her Linkedin profile) as East Coast General Manager of INTERVAL USA Inc.

Since September 2020, she oversees the management of the New York team (5 people), Eastern US clients and the Canadian market.

Elise is now reinforcing the INTERVAL USA executive sales hub alongside Marine Dorotte, West Coast Sales Director at San Francisco and Antoine Marsot, INTERVAL General Manger.

Before joining INTERVAL American team, East Coast General Manager Elise Poulet spent five years as the North America Sales Director of Délices des 7 Vallées, a company acquired by Mademoiselle Desserts (frozen pastry) in 2018. She managed the retail and food service sales development in the United States and successfully establish the American subsidiary.

Elise has lived in the New York area for 9 years and has spent her entire professional career in the specialty food industry. She started as Product Development Manager in France and spent 4 years in product and private label development in the world of the European distribution of organic products (Groupe Wessanen, Product Manager for Organic Brands

Bonneterre, Bjorg…). She then crossed the Atlantic where she worked for two years at Business France New York as an agro-food sales consultant to help French Food companies understand and grow in the US Market.

West Coast Sales Director Marine Dorotte joined INTERVAL in 2013 for an International Volunteering in New York. Five years later, she opened the INTERVAL San Francisco office. Marine started her career as Product Manager in Paris in 2012 for Harry’s – Barilla.

General Manager Antoine Marsot is running INTERVAL since his acquisition of the company in 2001 from its predecessor Jean-Claude Bauer. For 20 years, Antoine has forged links with the actors of the American cheese industry. He proved the added value of his export model both towards regional dairies – who could not finance their own export department – and the mastodons of American distribution who can import and distribute a wide range of multi dairy specialties through Interval. Antoine is based in France at the Paris office.

INTERVAL USA story

M. Jean-Claude Bauer, founder of the company, launched the very first American subsidiary called « Bon appétit America » in 1985. Unfortunately, two years later, the promising company had to close following serious agri-food disputes between the United States and the European Union during the “soybean war”.

In 2006, INTERVAL seized a second opportunity to reopen an international office in New York, with the help of Diane Sauvage, who permanently established INTERVAL USA.

In 2018, a third Interval satellite was created at San Francisco, with Marine Dorotte.

Today, our American team is stronger than ever with two offices covering both the Eastern and Western Coasts and a great multicultural team of 6 dairy experts whose goal is to support you with the cheese board that best suits your needs.
