Fall River, MA Theres already a pretty big footprint in the ground as Blount Fine Foods begins an expansion that will double the companys Industrial Park plant size and add as many as 100 employees over the next five years. Excavation is underway and a foundation has been poured.
The company produces seafood, breaded items and, most recently, dips for restaurants and also sells its food through supermarkets and wholesale clubs.
Company President Todd Blount said Blounts business was up about 10 percent in the restaurant end of their sales and nearly 30 percent in sales to markets and wholesale clubs.
Were growing with the deli areas in grocery stores, he said.
