SUGARCREEK It’s that time of year to attend the 66th annual Ohio Swiss Festival that officially kicks off today and continues Saturday.
At the preliminaries held Wednesday, Guggisberg Cheese of Millersburg, was named grand champion cheesemaker with 23 points through three contests — Dairy month in June, Ohio State Fair contest in July and the Swiss Festival contest which was held Wednesday at Pearl Valley Cheese.
Richard and Anne Guggisberg, owners of Guggisberg Cheese were officially crowned Thursday evening, prior to the cheese auction.
