Old Croc Introduces ‘Grand Reserve’ 24-Month Aged Australian Cheddar in New 7oz Retail Package

(Chatham, NJ)  Trugman-Nash, LLC, the makers of Old Croc Australian cheddar, is bringing even more “bite” to their popular line of cheddars with the introduction of their ‘Grand Reserve’ Australian vintage cheddar in a new convenient 7oz retail package. Previously only available in 10, 16 and 24 ounce chunks, this smaller size package will increase consumer trial and invite more specialty cheese lovers to enjoy this truly special cheddar at an attractive price. Like Old Croc’s other specialty aged cheddars, the new Grand Reserve 7 oz package is the ideal size for charcuterie and cheese boards or for family snacking.

Grand Reserve is crafted with milk from grass-fed cows and non-GMO ingredients. ‘Grand Reserve’ is our most mature cheddar and not for the faint of heart.  It’s carefully aged a minimum of 2 full years for a bold, rich flavor. The cheese’s texture is surprisingly creamy, yet crumbly with noticeably crunchy crystals. “This is a truly special cheese, and one I take extra pride in,” says Ken Meyers, President and CEO of Trugman-Nash. He added, “I personally grade every lot of this cheese and select only the finest grade to bear the Grand Reserve name.”

Old Croc’s new Grand Reserve now completes the brand’s top selling line-up of 7oz chunks, which also includes Medium, Sharp, Extra Sharp and Smoked Cheddars.

Old Croc is the fastest growing imported cheddar in the United States and invites consumers to “Cheese Boldly” with its full line of products including, flavored cheddar chunks, cheddar spreads and Croc Bites® snack cheeses.  Meyers explained, “Our cheddars are made from pure milk from grass-fed cows and an old-world recipe that maximizes texture, body, richness, and aging capabilities of the cheese to deliver a bold taste experience like no other.”

Old Croc ‘Grand Reserve’ is also available in 2/5# loaves for cut & wrap.
