The new Pesto offerings include: Basil, Spinach, Kale and Five Herb, each 6.5 oz. container retails for $5.99. The new pesto line is the first that they have rolled out since partnering with World’s Best Cheeses which also distributes two of Randazzo’s sauces, Marinara and Vodka. The rest of the line includes: Plum Tomato Basil, Alfredo, Puttanesca, Fra Diavolo, Bolognese and Tomato Cream Sauce with Chicken Sausage.
Packed with powerful anti-oxidant rich ingredients, Randazzo’s pesto sauces offer traditional flavor with a twist. Made with old world basics like 100% extra-virgin olive oil and imported Pecorino Romano cheese with no added sugar, preservatives or flavor enhancers, the secret ingredient is pumpkin seeds which create an irresistible nutty, salty texture that will leave you craving more.
“Creating the Pesto line has been a natural step toward growing the brand we created in 2008,” says Rochelle Randazzo, founder of the sauce company that began in her home kitchen. Even though Randazzo is no longer making the products in her home kitchen, the integrity of the original recipes is inherent in each of her sauces. They are still prepared in small batches with the same fresh ingredients that Randazzo serves her own family, honest to goodness.
