Treeline Cheese Appoints Justin Lambeth as CEO

Kingston, New York.– As the number of consumers switching to plant-based and dairy-free diets continues to soar, Treeline Cheese today announces the appointment of food industry veteran, Justin Lambeth, as CEO. Lambeth will lead the company’s continued rapid growth in specialty and mainstream consumer markets as well as the strategy for expanding market share in the food service business.

Prior to joining Treeline, Lambeth was Chief Commercial Officer at NatureSweet® Tomatoes. He also served as Chief Marketing Officer at Quaker, and his background includes extensive experience leading global, multi-billion-dollar brands at PepsiCo, H.J. Heinz, and Nabisco. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Make-a-Wish Foundation of North Texas and co-chaired the Frito-Lay United Way Campaign raising $1.3 Million for North Texas communities.

“Treeline Cheese’s innovation in great-tasting dairy-free alternatives puts plant-based cheeses at a tipping point, set to join a new generation of plant-based meats, yogurts and non-dairy creamers as mainstream grocery staples. I am excited to be a part of the consumer shift to a healthier lifestyle,” says Lambeth.

Treeline Cheese has reinvented how plant-based cheese is made with an artisanal process, drawing on traditional dairy cheese-making methods. Treeline actually ferments, or cultures, creamy cashew nuts with a healthy probiotic, known as L. Acidophilus. This produces a creamy consistency, smooth texture and the rich, natural fermented flavors normally associated with fine dairy cheeses.

According to Treeline Cheese Founder, Michael Schwarz, “We are thrilled to have Justin join our team. His deep industry experience and success in building brands and opening new market channels are a great fit at this exciting time of tremendous growth for our company and for plant-based food.”

Treeline Cheeses are available online at www.treelineonline.com and nationwide from Maine to Hawaii in over 3,000 stores, including local health food stores, co-ops and ‘chain’ stores such as Whole Foods, Kroger, Ralph’s and Wegmans.
