Kingston, NY — A leading supplier of artisanal, dairy-free cheeses to over 3,000 retailers nationwide, including the nation’s largest conventional (Kroger) and natural (Whole Foods) chains, Treeline Treenut Cheese today announces a doubling of its production capacity.
“Our recent capital expansion reflects our commitment to the growing non-dairy cheese market,” says Michael Schwarz, the founder and CEO of Treeline. “It enables Treeline to maintain its perfect record of meeting ever-increasing demand from existing retail partners, while adding new retailers nationwide.”
With an array of flavorful, soft French-style and aged plant-based cheeses, Treeline Treenut Cheese has reinvented how non-dairy cheese is made with an artisanal process, drawing on traditional dairy cheese-making methods. Treeline actually ferments, or cultures, creamy cashew nuts with a healthy probiotic, known as L. Acidophilus. This produces a creamy consistency, smooth texture and the rich, natural fermented flavors normally associated with fine dairy cheeses.
Treeline’s expansion includes commissioning state-of-the-art equipment to make existing cup-filling lines more efficient and to implement single serve packaging, designed specifically for on-line meal kits, grab-and-go foods and high-end airline meals.
All Treeline Treenut Cheeses are completely natural, without any added preservatives, stabilizers, gums or thickeners found in some other vegan options. They are non-GMO, kosher, soy-free and gluten-free and Paleo-friendly. What’s more, they provide dietary fiber, which is completely missing from dairy cheese.
In addition to its recently introduced new flavor, Premium New York Style Plain, six Treeline Treenut cheeses flavors are offered: Classic Aged Nut Cheese, Cracked Pepper Aged Nut Cheese, Herb-Garlic Soft French Style, Green Peppercorn Soft French Style, Chipolte-Serrano Soft French Style and Scallion Soft French Style.
