Hard work by Marj and Anthony Sjaarda to build a farm business over the last dozen years earned attention recently from a Toronto-based TV show.
Cheese from the Great Lakes Goat Dairy, based on the Camlachie Road farm in Plympton-Wyoming where the couple is raising their six children and a herd of approximately 1,200 goats, was featured during a food segment Dec. 2 on the CTV daytime talk show, The Marilyn Denis Show.
“We were thrilled,” said Marj Sjaarda.
The television moment came after a dietician on the show picked up some Great Lakes cheese at a store in Uxbridge
