CANGC Gears Up For California Grown Show & The Nursery Mart

The third year of the California Grown Show and the inaugural Nursery Mart show will take place at the Orange County Fair and Event Center located in Costa Mesa, Calif., on June 2. The shows are produced by the California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers (CANGC) and endorsed by the Nursery Growers Association and San Diego County Flower and Plant Association.

“The California Grown Show is a buying show and the timing is perfect as it gives a boost to waning spring sales for most all exhibitors,” said Richard Kline of Burchell Nurseries who serves as chairman for both shows. “In addition, I am proud to announce that in its inaugural year, Nursery Mart sold out as of March 5 and has a growing waiting list of exhibitors.”

The weeklong event begins on Tuesday, June 1 with a Grower Summit Conference and the Retail Education Day followed by a CANGC Political Action Committee Reception open to all members and friends of the CANGC. All events take place at the Costa Mesa Hilton. The next day, June 2, the California Grown Show featuring all green, ‘grower only’ exhibits and the new Nursery Mart featuring suppliers for grower, landscape and retail industry professionals will take place.
