Entries are being sought for the United Action for Youth's 2010 Festival of Flowers.
Professional florists, amateurs, youth and artists can submit floral displays for the floral show and competition, which will be June 3 at the Brown Deer Golf Course in Coralville. Categories include miniature floral, cut flowers, container gardens and floral art, with this year's theme of "Flower Power: 40 Years of Celebrating Youth."
A sneak preview of the flowers will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 3, with tickets for adults $5 at the door and youth 18 years old and younger free. A reception and auction of the floral displays will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. that evening, with tickets at $25 and including wine and hors d'oeuvres.
