Hawaiian "Christmas Tree Ship" Arrives With Relatively Low Number Of Pests, To Hit Stores Soon

HONOLULU — Hawaii agriculture inspectors have screened 70 refrigerated containers of Christmas trees and wreaths shipped from the mainland.

Each container shipped by Matson Navigation Co. holds about 200 to 500 trees and dozens of wreaths.
