Kim Larsen Wins 2016 Michigan Floral Association Award Retail Employee Of The Year

The Michigan Floral Association Retail Employee of the Year is Kim Larsen from Patterson Flowers in Big Rapids, Michigan. The awards ceremony took place at the 2016 Great Lakes Floral Expo in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

She has been in the floral industry since the age of 18 and is noted for being hard working and reliable. She always treats customers with respect and goes the extra mile to help them find just the right arrangement, bouquet, or gift. Always learning new things, she   puts them to good use making customers aware of the latest floral trends. She is a valued staff member who has earned her employer's gratitude and trust.

Each year the MFA Awards and Nominations Committee is responsible for soliciting and reviewing award nominations.  The committee sends all qualified nominations to a panel of independent judges who complete an evaluation form for each nominee. The committee totals the points received for each candidate nominated in a specific category and averages. The candidate receiving the highest average score in each category is chosen to receive the award
