Magical Winter Moments is an annual event organized in the beautiful scenery of a medieval hospital along the idyllic canals in the very centre of Bruges. The combination of an exceptional location, the beautiful flower decorations and the cosy atmosphere ensure this winter outing will be an unforgettable experience! This event was held from Friday 22 November to Sunday 1 December 2012.
A great success this year was the creation with Calandiva. Frederiek van Pamel created an immense floral wall with more than 2.500 red and orange Calandiva’s. It was a beautiful wall, which became every day more beautiful. The press – paper, television and radio – was very enthusiastic about this wall. It was a wonderful promotion for this plant and also immediately an unique opportunity to show this plants aren’t ‘grandma’ plants. Calandiva was in this way really in the spotlight.
During this event the focus was on flowers and floral art. There were beautiful decorative thingies, you could get ideas for a convivial festive dinner and experience the pleasant and warm festive atmosphere. It was a flowery edition based on renewed creativity.
