Make Your Work Space A Healthy Place With Cut Flowers

Being healthy is about more than just burning calories – it’s a lifestyle. Part
of that lifestyle includes where and how you work.

Do you ever feel tired, anxious or tense at work? Is your work space an area
that promotes creativity and positive energy? If you are tense or your work
space stifles your creative juices, try making a few simple adjustments to
create a healthier workday.

– First, remove the clutter. A clean, uncluttered working space is far more
conducive to a productive day than an area piled with papers and dirty mugs.
Start by clearing your desk, wiping your keyboard, cleaning your monitor and
organizing your files and papers. You’ll approach the day with a clear head when
your work area is clean.

– Go green. Some plants actually help absorb the pollutants emitted by office
carpets, paint and cleaning agents. Spider plants and peace lilies are great for
this. For more varieties, visit your local nursery. Also, fresh-cut flowers can
really brighten the office and everyone’s moods … not to mention reducing the
amount of carbon dioxide in the air.
