It can be a daunting task to do both, so make sure you plan out exactly how much time you will spend on each, so that it all gets done. It will definitely be worth it when you see the increased holiday sales. Here are six tips to set up your online holiday promotions:
- Make your online store festive.
Give your website a holiday look and feel by “decorating” it for the season. You can create a special holiday logo by adding a holiday element, such as a Santa hat, Christmas tree, or Christmas lights, to your current logo. You can also create a Christmas-themed banner for your online store that features your holiday promotion. You may even want to use some fun holiday fonts on your product description headings. Whatever you choose, you don’t have to do it all yourself; there are plenty of online resources to help you, like Canva or Fiverr.
- Create holiday gift bundles.
This is a great way to increase your overall sales while offering products that customers want at a package price. Rather than giving a strict percentage off on quarter boxes or arrangements and bouquets, offer them for less in a Christmas bundle and you’ll increase your average order value!
