Terra Nova Nurseries Introduces Sneak Peek of Veronica ASPIRE Blue PPAF (‘PBRAF’)

Canby, Ore. – Terra Nova Nurseries announced today a sneak peek of Veronica ASPIRE™ Blue PPAF (‘PBRAF’). This perennial has blue flowers that bloom from May to July.

Veronica ASPIRE Blue is the newest addition to Terra Nova Nurseries’ Veronica ASPIRE series. This hardy cultivar with green leaves and lovely blue flowers grows in a mounding and spreading/trailing habit, and the perennial makes for an attractive small area groundcover.

U.S.DA. Hardiness Zones for Veronica ASPIRE Blue are four through eight, and it is a full-sun variety. The variety’s mature plant height is 9”, with a width of 11” and an extended flower height of 13”.

Veronica ASPIRE Blue does best in moist organic soil with good drainage and can add landscape value to sun gardens, mixed beds and borders. This plant is deer resistant and a pollinator attractor.

Terra Nova Nurseries has created a “Plant Profile” page and “Grower Recipe” specific to this new variety so growers interested in orders can learn about growing habits, plant characteristics, fertilization recommendations, water requirements, and other insights provided by the breeding team.
