The International Horticultural Industry Congregates During The International Hortiweek

FLORAHOLLAND – During the International HortiWeek in the Netherlands (1-4 November), trade fair visitors from at home and abroad will be able to visit three trade fairs in the space of one week. In doing so, they will have a complete overview of the international horticultural industry and the developments taking place in breeding, production, sales, techniques, delivery and service. This cooperation between trade fairs gives Dutch and international visitors the chance to experience an exceptionally attractive and diverse week spent at three trade fairs featuring more than 1,400 standholders, an International Horti Congress, seminars and open houses. Thanks to the concentration of strength in the HortiWeek, the trade public will very easily be able to get a complete overview of what the industry has to offer.

Together, the FloraHolland Trade Fair (in Aalsmeer, 2-4 November), the Horti Fair (in Amsterdam, 1-4 November) and the IFTF (in Vijfhuizen, 2-4 November) have organized the International HortiWeek for the first week of November 2011. Their goal is to be of service to visitors and to help reinforce the national and international position of the horticultural industry.

The free shuttle-bus connections between the three fairs ensure that the locations — which are close to each other geographically — can be quickly and easily reached. This, as well as the excellent facilities, will allow visitors to look into all the subjects that interest them, over several days.

In order to help trade fair visitors find their way, the fairs have been positioned as followed:

– FloraHolland Trade Fair Aalsmeer (FHTF): an inspiring international trade fair
– International Horti Fair (IHF): a broad, international horticultural fair featuring breeding, and greenhouse and cultivation technologies
– International Floricultural Trade Fair (IFTF): an international floriculture trade fair
