DURANT, Okla. — A longtime food processing plant in Durant, which closed in September, will soon reopen it's doors with a new name.

BrucePac could open as soon as this summer, moving into the old JCP Specialty Foods building, which closed when the company was bought last year.

Officials said BrucePac has already hired some employees and is looking to create more than 200 jobs in the next couple of years.

Originally known as J.C. Potter's and most recently as JCP Specialty Foods, this plant has a long history in Durant, going back to the early 1950s.
