Kiolbassa Sausage Now Sold In More Costco Stores

The Kiolbassa Provision Co. is expanding its premium smoked sausage into Costco stores outside of Texas.

The San Antonio-based based, family owned company — which had already offered is sausage in 17 Costco stores in Texas — will now be selling its the 7-inch Polish sausage in 55 Costco stores in states such as Illinois and Michigan.

Earlier this year, the company also expanded its presence outside of Texas through a deal with Wal-Mart’s Sam’s Club stores.

Kiolbassa brand sausage is made with choice beef and pork and fresh spices. The sausage has no fillers, no MSG, is naturally smoked and is gluten free.

Company president Michael Kiolbassa says the expansion beyond Texas is exciting and represents another “giant step” forward in the company’s national distribution strategy.
