‘Meat Substitutes’ Maker Future Foods to Open Central Florida Facility, Add Jobs

A South Florida firm that makes plant-based meat substitutes plans to open a manufacturing and distribution plant in Ormond Beach.

Lake Worth-based Future Foods Enterprises LLC will lease about 30,000 square feet of space at 1899 N. U.S. 1. The facility, which is being revamped, will be used for the production and packaging of the company’s food products as well as research and development. Future Foods Enterprises imports both processed and finished products from Europe and wholesales its products to restaurants.

“This is great news for our company,” Future Foods CEO Alex Kramarchuk said. “The community has a great deal to offer and the building meets many of our requirements.”
