A slaughterhouse and meat processing plant planned for Milwaukee’s north side received another city endorsement Thursday.
Meanwhile, a plan to provide city financing for a proposed $84.5 million mixed-use development just north of downtown also received an initial approval.
The $60 million north side development involves Strauss Brands LLC’s plans to relocate from Franklin to a new meat production facility at Century City Business Park — if the project wins final approval in November from the Common Council.
